5-7 years across Rails, React and ecommerce platforms. I co-founded a Shopify marketplace, shipped a WhatsApp-based listing flow that now handles 90% of its inventory, and I'm also a builder and content creator, so I've been on both sides of the tools I build.

The Phir Story — AI WhatsApp agent & marketplace

A Shopify marketplace for preloved Pakistani designer fashion, with an AI WhatsApp agent that turns seller messages into listings.

  • Built an AI agent on WhatsApp that turns a seller's voice note or text into a prefilled listing: no ned to download and app, submissions route to internal review before going live. ~90% of listings now come in this way.
  • First version was a fully AI-conversational agent; a 10-person focus group showed only 2 completed a listing. Rebuilt it as a hybrid (algorithmic form + AI extraction) predictable for sellers, still fast.
  • Custom admin dashboard for inventory state, listing approval, and seller/buyer comms. Audited and standardized a 337-product catalog (sizing, tags, vendors).
  • Summer 2026: rebuilt the storefront on Shopify Dawn (Impulse-style design, measurements-first product pages, make-an-offer, dry-clean add-on) and ran the operational side of a Dallas pop-up.
